POSITION: IT Asset Technician
Employment Status: Part time with opportunity to grow to full-time, hourly pay

POSITION SUMMARY 
The IT Asset Technician is responsible for coordinating, ordering, and maintaining all IT assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Order all needed equipment on daily basis; Track and provide updates on equipment when requested
• Create and update company systems with relevant information for ongoing projects
• Pack up and ship out any products and equipment as needed
• Log and maintain internal IT assets assigned to employees
• Maintain multiple locations' inventory within internal inventory system
• Assist in updating and programming equipment as needed
• Manage shipping accounts to ensure accuracy with billing as well as incoming and outgoing shipment status and tracking

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - willing to train the right candidate
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Able to write correspondence of a technical nature

The successful candidate will work with a team to answer phones and provide pricing to customers, coordinate with shop and installation departments to aid in installations of company products (railings, metal staircases, storm doors, window well covers, and other customized metal products on large and small installs).

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
-Answer Inside Sales Inquiries.
-Schedule Outside Sales site visits.
-Execute tasks in a timely manner.
-Conduct self and encourage team members to act in a professional manner at all times.
-Keep job files up-to-date.
-Schedule all jobs for installation with customers and/or project managers. 
-Prepare installation paperwork and have ready prior to install day. 
-Review projects with installers prior to installation, including Operations Manager, when needed.
-Insure all materials and hardware for installation are identified and get loaded and taken to job site. 
-Organize extra labor for jobs requiring more than the normal install crew, including manual labor and/or equipment, if needed. 
-Guide installers at shop and at job sites.

Overview:

This position will be responsible for maintaining permit compliance and processing permits through the proper city/municipality to meet company deadlines. This position will also be responsible for other assigned administrative duties as outlined by the District Manager. This is an entry level position. 

Responsibilities:

Position available consists of general office duties consisting of and related to:

Applying for City & County permits
Drafting TCP Requests
Determining municipal boundaries by use of county GIS maps
Reviewing and understanding job prints
Communicating with district inspectors, construction managers and sub-contractors
Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits
Driving company vehicle as needed
Basic ability to use standard office equipment (printer, fax, computer, scanner)                                    
Keep appropriate documentation (time cards, job cost, etc.)
Other tasks/duties as assigned by corporate and/or local operations.

Qualifications:

General office experience including filing, data entry and the ability to work in various computer software and programs with intermediate levels of skill.
Experience working with construction permits and obtaining them. 
Experience reading prints.
Able to meet multiple urgent deadlines in quick and efficient manner.
Must be able to effectively communicate with crew.
Maintain a positive attitude with team.
Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
Must have reliable transportation
Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
