The Position: We're looking for a Delivery Driver located in our greater Denver market,. The pay we're offering is between $18-$21 an hour, based on experience. Candidate must pass a Drug/Alcohol Test and Criminal Background Check.

Basic Function: To complete assigned deliveries and pick- up of merchandise and assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities. The responsibilities of this position include Delivery & Pickup of furniture throughout greater Denver area, eventually may expand to other parts of the state. You will be asked to work in the warehouse when needed, including loading and unloading trucks, prepping furniture for delivery and general warehouse duties. While the majority of our business occurs during normal business hours, there are many opportunities for OVERTIME hours due to the nature of our business.

Responsibilities
Check furniture to ensure acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading truck.
Accurately and safely load truck, scanning and checking items against lease agreement.
Deliver and install furniture in a safe manner and within agreed upon timeframe.
Pickup furniture upon lease termination.
Report all pick-up and delivery issues to dispatch and record information on paperwork.
Document start and end times at each stop for productivity purposes.
Confirm all electronics and lighting work prior to leaving the stop.
Wipe down and touch-up furniture upon delivery as needed.
Unload, sort and scan returned furniture to download/repair.
Utilize helper to spot when driving the box truck in reverse.
Fold blankets and store equipment and supplies to keep the truck organized.
Perform checklist of truck to ensure all equipment and supplies are available.
Loading and unloading trucks, prepping furniture for delivery and general warehouse duties
Support warehouse functions as needed.
Drivers are assisted by the Delivery Helper.

Qualification/Skills
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service skills.
Valid Driver's license- must meet insurance underwriting requirements. CDL not required.
Must pass DOT physical.
Good driving record.
Open availability, overtime is common.
Experience in moving and delivering furniture is a requirement
Experience driving a truck is required

We offer the following benefits:
A sign-on bonus of $1500, paid in 3 installments. The initial payment of $500 will be paid on the 2nd pay check after the Date of Hire. The remaining 2 payments will be made in the pay period coming 30 and 60 days after the initial payment. To qualify, the employee needs to be in good standing with AFR. There mus tbe no violations of company policy and a minimum performance review of "meets expectations" during the entire first 90 days of employment.
