Plaintiffs' Personal Injury practice needs an experienced Litigation Paralegal for approximately 20 hours per week. Must be able handle all levels of litigation paralegal responsibility for a plaintiff solo attorney, from participating with intakes to assisting with lien resolution. Additional experience with commercial litigation is a plus.
Duties including: gathering records, docketing, scheduling, calendar management, preparing disclosures and discovery, communicating effectively with clients and adjusters, collecting and preserving evidence, collecting medical records and billing records, organizing litigation documents, drafting pre-litigation demands, e-filing in State and Federal Courts, dealing with subrogation interests, liens, Medicaid, and Medicare liens.
We are currently working completely remotely. We also have plenty of extra office space, so maintaining safe distances at the office is not a problem if we need to be in the office. The successful applicant must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and make sure everything gets done and done well.
Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience $22 - $30 per hour.
