Home-Builder / High-End Remodeling Contractor is looking to fill a high growth potential position for a Production Manager / General Superintendent who has a strong knowledge base of residential construction carpentry and finishes.
Ideal Candidate might be a knowledgeable carpenter who is looking to move into management or an individual with construction experience and an entrepreneurial spirit looking to join an established firm. You are not be a nine to five type person but you know how to get things done on budget, on schedule and are interested in not only great projects but contributing to a growing firm.
You must have the following qualifications:
• Clean license
• Truck
• Most all power and hand tools
• 10 +/- years experience working in the building/remodeling industry
• Customer oriented
• Good references (customers, businesses, and character)
• Able to lead, work independently and as a team player.
Job Overview / duties include but are not limited to;
Working closely with the Owner, Project Managers and Customers on multiple jobs to ensure that the all projects stay on time and on budget.
Ability to take a project from contract to completion.
Ensuring customer satisfaction.
Coordinate employees, subcontractors, inspectors, and materials.
You have the ability to manage and motivate employees.
Enforce safety standards.
Manage schedules.
Manage / coordinate / distribute and understand all plans and specifications.
Certify work being done in accordance with building codes & company quality standards.
Identify and propose solutions on construct-ability.
Enforce job-site cleanliness and safety.
Understanding of construction sequencing and ability to create 2 week look ahead schedules with trade flow and communication.
Conduct and hold weekly project meetings and site safety meetings.
Excellent Organizational skills.
Excel, Co Construct, T-sheets and general computer skills a plus.
Ability to understand and read blueprints and the ability to do lay out.
Bi-lingual is a plus.
Position requires daily travel throughout the metro Denver area to multiple sites.
