The Blue Bench (formerly RAAP) is metropolitan Denver's only comprehensive sexual assault support and prevention
We are the only sexual assault prevention and care center in the country that runs a full-time, professional community organizing department. Our staff consists of committed, professional, highly skilled activists. New employees receive extensive training and continuing support on issue knowledge and campaign skills. All staff members receive regular updates given by our therapists and advocates along with other sexual assault response authorities. We have a strong and early focus on staff career development that involves management training opportunities and travel.
Our hope is to one day live in a world where sexual assault no longer exists. This is what inspires our efforts. Until that day comes, our work is not complete.
