A local, family run business is looking for a new Bookkeeper to manage our daily accounting needs and some additional office management duties. We have several branches of our business including real estate & property management co. and an international home design showroom. We are stable and growing, with a great, flexible and family friendly atmosphere.
The ideal candidate for this position would have strong bookkeeping/accounting skills to maintain our daily records, monthly & quarterly reporting, general accounting duties, reconciliations, AP & AR, and payroll duties. Additional office duties include some light filing, scanning, and office organization. Occasionally answering the phones and other data entry and record keeping. There is room to grow in this position to other duties if desired, but not required.
This role has a variety of tasks, so having great time management and multitasking skills is highly preferable. Additionally, being organized, highly detail oriented, and being self-managing/self-motivated are critical to this role.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
Daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations
General Office duties: answering phones, scanning, filing, data entry, office organization

Able to self-manage, work independently, sometimes you are the only one in the office

Customer Service skills are a plus
Required Experience includes, but not limited to:
Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent
5 years of AP & AR required
Payroll experience required
Sage 50 Peachtree Accounting Software experience a strong plus
Job Costing experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word required
Hours and Compensation:
Full-time, Business Hours, Monday - Friday, some flexibility available
$40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience, Paid Time Off, Health Benefits stipend
