The Director of Global Strategic Sourcing will be responsible Procurement role related to machine components, castings, forgings, coatings, processing, and raw materials.

This role will be responsible for developing

and implementing sourcing and procurement management strategies for these assigned categories and provide leadership, management, guidance and expertise on the development and implementation of the Strategic Sourcing Initiative.

Additionally, this role will be expected to develop and implement ongoing process improvement strategies and effectively negotiate complex contracts and long term procurement agreements.


While performing the duties of this job, the Manufacturing Engineer is exposed to typical machine shop metal chips and machining coolant. The Mechanical Engineer is occasionally exposed moving mechanical parts. Additionally, due to the machinery in use, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the is regularly required to stand; use hand to finger, and feel and/or reach with hands and arms. The Mechanical Engineer is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The Mechanical Engineer is occasionally required to sit and stoop. In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
