*Supervise FOH employees and delegate job tasks as needed
*Assist and support FOH employees
*Handle customer complaints in person, via phone and email in a timely manner when General Manager is not available and report any incidents to General Manager
*Study and share product knowledge with FOH employees to improve overall customer service performance
*Provide coaching session to FOH employees to improve their performance
*Administer floor maintenance and cleaning condition
*Schedule FOH Staff shifts and obtain approval from General Manager before schedule distribution
*Coordinate with Administrative Office for any customer payments, tips and other monetary issues
*General administrative duties and additional duties may be assigned by General Manager and other Floor Managers
*At least 3-5 years of management experience in fine dining, high traffic restaurant
*Intermediate wine/sake knowledge
*Good understanding of food/labor cost and inventory control
*Basic accounting knowledge
*Understand how to read computer generated sales summary and reconcile with credit card batches
*Reconcile drawers at the closing store
*POS system knowledge of Posi Touch preferred
*Strong work ethic and integrity
*Professional, friendly, team player and multi-tasker
*Approx 50-55 hours during a normal week
*This position may require you to sit and/or stand in the same position for an extended period of time
*This position may require you to lift up to 50lbs
*This position requires to serve raw fish and cooked chicken, beef, pork and other meat products as well as raw and cooked vegetables which are placed on serving plates and dishes.
*This position requires a new hire training during an initial orientation period and performance tests on an on-going basis. An employee must meet satisfactory expectations on trainings and tests during employment.
