In order to be eligible for an appointment under the PATHWAYS Recent

Graduate Program you must meet the following requirements: You must be a recent graduate (or will obtain required degree by June 15, 2016) who has completed, within the previous two years a qualifying masters or equivalent degree. Veterans (as defined in 5 USC 2108) who, due to military service obligation, were precluded from applying to the Recent Graduates Program during any portion of the 2-year eligibility period described above have a full 2-year period of eligibility upon their release or discharge from active duty; however, this eligibility period cannot extend beyond 6 years from the date of completion of the requirements of an academic course of study.

Graduate Education:

Candidates MUST possess a master's degree in a major field of study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration that is recognized by one of the accrediting agencies or associations recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education. Preferred candidates will possess a degree from a program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), or the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

A transcript must be submitted with your application package.

Note: Only education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment.  You can verify your education here:   If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.

Physical Requirements: Work is primary sedentary. Traveling off-station to the community based outpatient clinic and other facilities with the Network is infrequent though may be required. Normal risks and discomfort with travel apply.
