Our client is developing a position that will allow you to build sales in the Colorado, Indiana, Michigan & Ohio markets. This position will require some travel and will eventually lead to a leadership role. (Travel is approximately 35-65%.)
You will be responsible for sales achievements and service & retention goals while achieving profitable growth.
Your main duties will be: setting, communicating & executing operational strategy and performance measures in line with regional & market goals; ensuring achievement of sales, growth, retention & profitability goals; analyzing competitive environment to improve pricing, underwriting & product development; cultivate & maintain strong relationships with brokers & consultants; educate constituents on client's specific product information & procedures as well as industry issues and current key business issues.
Key qualifications are: Large Group health insurance sales; established broker relationships; 10 years of industry sales experience; 5 years of sales management experience; college degree or equivalent work experience & required state licensing (Insurance/Life, Accident, Health, and HMO State License.)
