Great Foundations Montessori is seeking Preschool and Infant teachers to support the Woodbury Town Center campus and the Northwood Town Center campus. Positions are available working with children ages 6 weeks

to 6 years.

LEAD MONTESSORI TEACHERS are responsible for implementing a Montessori curriculum utilizing AMI, AMS, or another recognized developmentally appropriate Montessori practice and for organizing and managing the classroom, planning the daily curriculum, and facilitating student growth. LEAD MONTESSORI TEACHERS must have a minimum of 12 semester units or equivalent quarterly units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited or approved college or university and AMI or AMS Montessori certification.


PRESCHOOL TEACHERS are responsible for assisting the Lead Montessori Teacher in general supervision and management of transition periods in a toddler, preschool, or kindergarten class and promoting student participation in the learning experience. PRESCHOOL TEACHERS must be a minimum of 18 years old and have a minimum of 12 semester units or equivalent quarterly units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited or approved college or university.


INFANT and TODDLER TEACHERS are primary caregivers to as many as four infants in the classroom, provide general supervision, and form a caring, nurturing, and responsive relationship with the children. Infant and Toddler Teachers build trust with the children and help them to feel secure. Additionally, Infant and Toddler Teachers develop warm and caring relationships with other children in the classroom. Infant and Toddler Teachers must have a minimum of 12 semester units or equivalent quarterly units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited or approved college or university. At least three of the units shall be related to the care of infants or shall contain instruction specific to infants.
