POSITION DESCRIPTION (Immediate opening) Soapoint Graphics is seeking a long term employee to become part of our work family. You will work in a clean, modern, and technologically advanced sign shop with
mature, skilled, and dedicated staff who work as a team to accomplish goals. Under general direction, this position is responsible for a wide variety of aspects associated with the production of large format graphics and signs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing surfaces and substrates, weeding & applying vinyl, cutting of various substrates, hemming banners, packaging, laminating prints, vehicle graphics application, and periodic assistance with off-sight installation of all product types produced including large format vinyl applications, vehicle graphics, site signs, and many other types of signage related products. Tasks such as making deliveries to customers in the Denver Metro, emptying trash cans and maintaining a clean shop are in additional responsibilities for this position.

Qualifications Here's what we're looking for: (specific training necessary will be provided)
Working knowledge of small hand and power tools, construction techniques, and ability to work un-supervised under pressure for high production and high quality products.
Prior Sign shop experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Should be comfortable working on a ladder or from a lift.
Ability to listen, learn, and adapt to new projects and techniques.
Perform quality assurance measures through proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
Ability to follow directions and work as a team member.
Must be reliable and have a positive attitude.
Communicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner.
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered.
Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage and work areas.
Must have reliable transportation and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
Ability to use light hand and power tools.
