Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems currently has an employment opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join our team in our growing outpatient offices in Allentown and Easton.

We are looking for someone that is Adult Certified. Adult and Child Certification preferred

It is the responsibility of the Psychiatrist to conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management services, clinical consultation/supervision and clinical client reviews. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and document findings in an accurate and comprehensive manner.

Conduct medication management sessions at least every 2 months and prescribe medications according to psychiatric best practices, including minimizing unnecessary medications or prescriptive patterns that could result in medication/chemical dependency.

Complete accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation of medication management services

Approximately 5 hours/wk. at either or both offices; schedule can be anytime Mon.-Fri between 8:30AM -9PM and Saturday days; adults or children or both.

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is approved by The State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to offer continue education credits for its licensees.

Minimum Education: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from a regionally accredited medical school or through a foreign school with approval through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Minimum Experience: One year of experience post-residency or must work under the supervision of another psychiatrist until the experience has been obtained.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed physician in the state(s) in which services are to be provided. Board Certification in Adult and/or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry or board eligible. Full DEA certification for prescribing Schedule II, III, IV and V medications.

Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34 clearance, Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
