Under limited supervision contribute to the membership, customer service and financial goals of Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI) by providing the public with health insurance through the direct sales of individual

policies generated by direct marketing campaigns and unsolicited leads.

Required Experience:

  • Three years sales within the health care or health insurance industry

Required Certifications/Licenses:

  • State of Idaho disability and health insurance license (or must be obtained within 45 days of hire)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

  • Sales techniques

  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting potential members Achieve/Exceed monthly sales targets
  • Generate and manage leads
  • Travel, occasionally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in business related discipline)

Position Reports to: Manager, Direct Sales
Salary Grade: 12 (plus sales incentive)
