We are actively seeking qualified candidates for Short Notice Scheduler. This is a full-time regular position with a full benefits package. Work will be performed onsite at our Greenwood Village, CO headquarters office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.


Job Purpose: Provide tactical event and resource scheduling as one of the key members in a 24/7/365 service delivery support team.

Duties:
• Respond as needed to phone calls and emails from Customers and Real-time Captioners in a timely manner
• Work to assign all day of, weekly, and monthly available events (varies among service type)
• Monitor captioner hours during the event assignment process
• Work with the Prescheduling team to ensure all events are staffed appropriately
• Promptly respond to and resolve scheduling conflicts, escalate all event issues to appropriate department personnel.
• Maintain, review, and process schedule change requests
• Provide excellent notes regarding scheduled events during your shift
• Maintain customer and captioner filters through our scheduling software
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Availability:
• Monday-Friday; 8:00a-5:00p MT
• This position requires employee to be on-site at Caption Colorado headquarters
• This is a critical, 24/7/365 position (including holidays)

Minimum Skills/Qualifications:
At least 1 year in a call center based customer service role
Previous expeirence working in a fast paced, rapid decision support environment
Experience providing direct external customer support (via phone and in person)
Experience providing direct internal employee support (via phone and in person)
High proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive Customer Service approach and attitude

Preferred
Television Broadcasting technology knowledge
Education - 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent experience
2+ years in a call center based customer service role
Experience with staff or event scheduling systems
