Team Member - Landscape Maintenance and Irrigation (Parker)

Attend work on a regular, punctual, and dependable basis according to the work schedule.
Utilizing all tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies in a responsible manner.
Cleaning Team vehicles internally and externally on a daily basis.
Proactively assisting the Team Leader in identifying and resolving all customer service issues or concerns on a timely and proactive basis.
Assisting the Team Leader in monitoring the workplace and neutralizing any potential hazards that exist for Team members during the performance of their duties.
Notify the Team Leader if the work assigned is not appropriate to their respective skill level. Ensure each assignment is clearly understood, including any special instructions indicated in the Route Sheets.
Perform assigned work in a safe, expeditious, professional manner with honesty and integrity.
Prepared to work long hours and on weekends if and when necessary.
The nature of snow & ice management can be compared to an emergency response system. The snow event must be anticipated and managed. This requires the Team Leader to make a commitment to Team members for the winter season, and be available and in town, November through April. Team members must be able to schedule adequate sleeping patterns and control consumption of alcohol so as to be rested and mentally alert, and not under the influence of alcohol, at the beginning of each shift. Team members may be required to work long shifts of more than 12 hours at a time.
In the winter the Team member will operate equipment, which may include, but is not limited to: Pickup or larger Truck with Plow and Spreader, Skid Steer, and Loader. Team members may also use hand tools such as Shovels, Snow Blowers, Back Pack Blowers, etc, and will handle de-icing chemicals. Team members must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Participating in performance evaluations and performance-related discussions in a constructive and professional manner.
Actively and positively participate in any on-the-job coaching and counseling provided.
Business Development Responsibilities:
Identifying additional service opportunities on existing customer contracts to the Team Leader for evaluation and customer follow-up.
Provide any and all assistance, advice and cooperation to the General Manager, the Team Leaders or other Team members as may be reasonably required or requested from time to time.
