Under general supervision, provides customer service to WIC participants, including answering questions regarding program requirements and documentation needed to enroll onto WIC, scheduling appointments, and triaging calls to WIC staff. Provides other WIC support services, including reminder calls and general phone support.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: One year customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, high level of computer accuracy, and organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize work activities with general supervision in both individual and team settings. Easily adapts to change. Ability to utilize various software applications and information systems to perform work processes (Microsoft Outlook and Compass, state WIC computer system). Bilingual English and Spanish.

Certificate/License/Registration: Level 1 State WIC certification completed within 30 days of hire, preferred. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
