Chelsea Clinton and actress America Ferrera have cancelled their scheduled appearance in Boulder today due to travel and flight delays.
Clinton and Ferrera were scheduled to speak to supporters of
Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign at The Riverside, 1724 Broadway, at 11 a.m. today. But travel delays have forced the two women to cancel the event, the Clinton campaign confirmed this morning.
Chelsea Clinton sent out a tweet apologizing for the event being cancelled.
"Disappointed my (long) delayed flight is keeping me from Boulder," Clinton tweeted. "So sorry I couldn't make it. Thanks to everyone there supporting my mom!"
Clinton and Ferrera are still scheduled to try and attend two other events in Denver, including one this afternoon at the University of Denver.
Hillary Clinton herself already made an appearance in Boulder in November at the Boulder Theater.
