We are seeking a professional, reliable/dependable, and hardworking addition to our Production team. The Technician will ensure the timely completion of assemblies for shipment to customers. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with previous experience using drills, saws, and other light duty equipment.
Duties include:
• Production and assembly tasks: riveting, plastics, forming, torque, bonding, soldering, safety wire, electronics
• Assemble/build on ducts, fasteners, installations, motors, blowers, evaporators, condensers, and wiring assemblies.
• Assemble the product per the print and released procedures to ensure a quality product.
• Safely operate all equipment such as die cut, drill press, lathe, mill and sanders, etc.
• Perform foreign object detection (FOD) activities through the process to minimize any potential risks.
• Comply with all safety procedures to ensure proper protective equipment usage such as safety glasses, ear plugs, respirators/dust masks, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
The candidate for this position should possess:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Experience in fabrication and aviation airframe strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability reading schematics, prints, drawings, etc for part assembly required
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Previous experience in parts pulling environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
